Quokli is a screen-time app: you set a daily limit on chosen apps, and when you go over, those apps lock until you buy the time back. This policy explains what data we handle, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The apps you choose to limit, and your minute-by-minute usage of them, are handled by Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls on your own device. iOS gives Quokli only opaque tokens that represent your selection — we never receive the names of your apps or what you do inside them.
Depending on how you use Quokli, we may collect:
We do not sell your personal data. Real-money movements do not exist in the current version (see below), so no payment details are collected in the app today.
The investing / "fund" feature in the current app is a simulation: it uses real market prices for illustration, but no real money moves, no payment details are collected, and no account is opened with any broker. Should real investing launch in a future version, this policy will be updated and funds will be held and trades executed by a separate licensed, regulated broker partner under its own terms.
We share personal data with service providers ("processors") who handle it on our behalf and on our instructions — currently including Supabase (EU-hosted database & authentication), PostHog (EU-hosted product analytics), and Cloudflare (website and infrastructure) — and we may engage additional providers of the same kind as the product grows. We may also share data where required by law, to protect our rights and users, with your direction or consent, and — should Quokli be part of a financing, acquisition, or similar business transaction — with the parties to that transaction under confidentiality. We do not sell personal data.
We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purposes above — generally for as long as your account exists — and afterwards only as needed for legitimate business or legal purposes (such as security records or legal obligations). When you delete your account in the app, your personal data is deleted without undue delay. Website signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these, email privacy@quokli.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in Austria, the Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at).
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the app: Settings → Delete account. This is immediate and permanent. You can also email us and we will do it for you.
Quokli is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

By creating an account or using the Quokli app ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.
Quokli is a screen-time and habit tool. It helps you set limits on apps and, when you go over, locks them until you choose to buy the time back. The investing / "fund" feature in this version is a simulation for illustration only — it shows real market prices but moves no real money and opens no brokerage account.
Quokli is not a bank, broker, custodian, or investment, financial, tax, or legal adviser. Nothing in the app is advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any investment, or an offer of any financial product.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. Don't misuse the app, attempt to break or probe its security, or use it unlawfully. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service; you can delete your account at any time in Settings.
The app, its design, branding, code, and content are owned by Quokli and protected by intellectual-property law; these terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app, not any ownership in it. If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you agree we may use them freely to build and improve our products, without restriction or compensation.
We're a young product and the app is provided "as is" and "as available". We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update these terms and our Privacy Policy as the product evolves; where changes are material we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
The app relies on Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls, which we do not control and which may not block perfectly in every situation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quokli is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Austrian or EU law, or our liability for death, personal injury, or anything that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of Austria, and — subject to your mandatory consumer rights — the courts of Austria have jurisdiction.
